That title reminds me of: Nitroglycerin -- AHA! So that's why it sounded familiar! [On a totally unrelated note: I'm sure I heard that in an Amateur Transplants song: [link] and I ended up looking it up and I thought it was familiar and I just realized it was because I was remembering it from an Untold Stories of the ER episode.... Anywho!! Back to the photo! I really, really love it!
It has such a deep breath of emotion to it, and I love the shadow-y, kind of undefined and wispy aspects to the shadows. Were they actual people or just the makings of what would appear as such?
The blue lighting is perfect here too, and I love how this looks like an old movie film, something either at the very start or at the very end. It is loving, and touching and I'm interested why a portion of their minds has somewhat of a space. It's possible it symbolizes logic, maybe the escape of logic, to go with one's heart instead of mind. Or maybe it's just the vulnerable moment of sharing a story, having to look into another's eyes and connect, maybe even feel what they're going through and wanting to help while at the same time, feeling helpless.
It's very lovely though, is my point. You did a beautiful job capturing the emotion and an endless wandering of an idea here too.
